My name is Lotta and I founded L8Hasselblad in 2010.

Creating has been a passion for me throughout my life. After an inspiring family trip to Italy in 2008, I took a jewelry course and immediately fell in love with the world of jewelry art! Since then, I have had the privilege to work with what I love – creating jewelry that carries its own story.

It is also important to me to support small businesses and to work with fantastic brands. I have gathered an amazing group of business friends and provide opportunities for young people to learn.

With a family tradition of creativity and innovation – my grandmother's brother is none other than Victor Hasselblad, the creator of the iconic Hasselblad camera – I want to continue building on the legacy of passion and quality.

A special aspect of my jewelry is that they are created without drawings or sketches, making each piece unique. I am constantly inspired and create new jewelry almost daily to offer something special to everyone who visits L8Hasselblad.

Although I only have two hands, every piece of jewelry is handmade with care in my studio in Lidingö. I always work with high-quality materials such as sterling silver 925, 18k gold, and nowadays also gold vermeil (18k gold on brass).

My dream is that everyone can find something with me – something that feels personal and special. For example, I have created over 20 variations of heart rings to offer something for every taste.
